47th Annual Spring BBQ Tickets Now On Sale

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – The Roadrunners are busily preparing for one of their biggest events of the year, the 47th Annual CSUB Athletics Spring Barbeque. Tickets are now on sale for the evening filled with great food and drinks as well as live music, slated for Thursday, May 9, on CSUB's campus at 5:30 p.m.

The presenting sponsors are once again North Bakersfield Toyota, Bill Wright Toyota and Kern Schools Federal Credit Union. Dinner is your choice of New York Steak or Teriyaki Chicken, prepared by head chefs Gary and Adam Icardo. The Spring BBQ event chairman is John Giumarra Jr., who along with the Icardo family has been volunteering their time and efforts to this event since its inception.

The Tex Pistols and the Byrom Brothers, including a special guest will provide plenty of terrific live music on the KUZZ Stage to entertain guests during dinner. As one of the premiere social events of the year, there will also be a great selection of beer and wine.

Interested attendees can save $5 off the price by purchasing tickets in advance for just $30. Tickets can be purchased here on GoRunners.com or at the following ticket outlets:

Guests will also be able to purchase tickets at the gate the night of the event for $35. CSUB student tickets are just $15 in advance and $18 at the gate.
