Quick Turnaround For CSUB at Wright State

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – CSU Bakersfield's women's basketball team didn't have much time to enjoy its 20-Year Celebration game or a dominating win over the Fresno Pacific Sunbirds yesterday with Wright State quickly approaching on the Roadrunners docket this week.

Bakersfield is undefeated at home against a pair of non-Division I teams, but on the road the `Runners are still in search for a win having lost to Washington (Nov. 8) and Gonzaga (Nov. 10), who was receiving votes in the national poll at the time.

WSU is one of six teams on the Roadrunners' non-conference slate that made a postseason appearance in 2019. The Raiders tallied twenty-seven wins before falling to No. 14 Texas A&M in the NCAA Tournament.

WSU suffered a nineteen-point loss in its home opener against Abilene Christian last Friday. The Raiders check in at 0-1 on the season.

Tomorrow will be the second time Wright State and CSUB meet, but the first time the `Runners face the Raiders on their home floor.
