Men's Soccer Heads to KC, HBU

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – This 2019 roster has shown that CSU Bakersfield's men's soccer team will not be overlooked in conference. Coming off another six-point swing at home, the Roadrunners head to Kansas City (Nov. 1) and Houston Baptist (Nov. 3) for a pair of league matches.

One win behind second-place and one point behind a tie for third, CSUB is right where they need to be as the conference season has gradually wound down to the final weeks.

Bakersfield and Kansas City will meet for the eighth time in the all-time series. The `Runners have a 6-1-0 record against the Roos. Last season, CSUB hosted KC and the Roos stole a 1-0 shutout. Before 2018, CSUB had won seven-straight against. The match on Friday is slated for a 5 p.m. start.

CSUB and Houston Baptist will meet for the 11th time in the all-time series. The `Runners have a 5-3-2 record against the Huskies. Last season, CSUB hosted and picked up a 3-1 loss. It's been three seasons (2016) since the Roadrunners beat the Huskies. The matinee on Sunday is scheduled for an 11 a.m. tilt.
