Rohlfing Rated No. 18 by FloWrestling

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – Fresh off a sixth-place finish at the Southern Scuffle, redshirt junior Russell Rohlfing has been rated at the No. 18 wrestler in the country at the 149-pound weight class by FloWrestling.

Last weekend in Chattanooga, Tenn., Rohlfing placed sixth at the Southern Scuffle, highlighted by a 7-5 overtime win over Iowa State's Jarrett Degen to reach the semifinals. Degen was ranked seventh in the country at the time. Rohlfing won four straight matches on Friday to reach Saturday's semifinal.

For the season, Rohlfing is 11-6 overall and sports a 5-1 record in dual action. He also has two victories against opponents currently ranked in this week's Top 20. Rohfling knocked off No. 11 Degen over the weekend and earlier this year defeated No. 16 Pat Lugo of Iowa.

The two-time NCAA qualifier and the rest of the Roadrunners will be back in action on Friday when they head to Cal Poly for a Pac-12 dual at 7:00 p.m.
