Tickets On Sale For WAC VB Tournament In Bakersfield

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – For the first time since 2014, the Western Athletic Conference Volleyball Tournament will be held in Bakersfield next week. The Roadrunners are preparing to host the rest of the league, Nov. 22-24, with an automatic berth in the NCAA Tournament on the line. Tickets are already available for purchase and make for a great family outing for Thanksgiving Weekend.

When CSU Bakersfield hosted the WAC Tournament four years ago, the `Runners went on a magical run to the title, fueled by the cheers and support of `Runner fans. Director of Volleyball Giovana Melo encourages fans to make it out to the Icardo Center and help CSUB, the 2017 WAC Tournament Champions, go for a repeat on the Kern Schools Court.

All-session passes are currently on sale while single-session tickets go on sale Monday, Nov. 19. With the $28 all-session pass, one adult can see all three `Runner matches for less than $10 a match or take in all five WAC matches at just over $5 a contest, both of which are better than most Black Friday deals you can find. Single-session tickets will start at $12 for adults and $9 for youth (6-17) and seniors (60+).

Group tickets provide further discounts if you and 11+ of your friends want to see the best in the WAC compete. For students of WAC schools, a complimentary general admission ticket will be provided with their school IDs. Faculty and staff from WAC schools will receive a significant discount with their campus IDs.

To purchase tickets ahead of time, pre-order by calling (661) 654-BLUE, emailing tickets@csub.edu, or filling out a ticket information request form. Tickets will also be available on a walk-up basis on game days, with the box office opening one hour prior to the start of the first match.
