"Noah Hickman and Maya Valdoria both had the sophomore breakthrough," said Hansen.  "Both really stepped up their game and I'm proud of both of them."

Hickman finished 19th in the 100-yard breaststroke, touching the wall in 1:00.91.  He also teamed up with Loren Gillian, Richie Campbell and Linus Richter to finish third in the 200 freestyle relay (1:24.66).  The sophomore also anchored the fourth-place 300 free relay (2:14.33) and capped the day with a 46.93 in the 100 free.

Valdoria began the day with a 15th-place finish in the 100 butterfly (59.29) and cracked the top 10 in the 100 breast after touching the wall in ninth (1:07.02).  Later in the afternoon, she had her second top-10 finish in the 200 fly (2:07.80), finishing in eighth.

Veterans Kris Rogic, Loren Gillian, Justice Kramer and Jake Chir continued to lead the men's team.

Gillian placed fifth in the 100 fly (49.09), narrowly edging out Rogic, who finished ninth (50.60).  Rogic also claimed eighth in the 100 backstroke (49.86), while Kramer took 12th (52.99).  The four-time Croatian National Champion added a sixth-place finish in the 200 back (1:51.10).

Kramer began the day individually by finishing ninth in the 400 individual medley (4:09.62) and finished his weekend with an eighth-place finish in the 200 fly (1:54.48).  Chir placed 12th in the 100 breast after completing the event in 56.79.  He also placed 13th in the 200 breast.

Jayssie Haynes and Autumn D'Arcy both had solid days again for the women's squad, with Sabrina Zavala joining them with an impressive morning.

Haynes was third in the 400 IM (4:26.64), while Zavala touched the wall in seventh (4:47.06).  Haynes would also finish 10th in the 100 breast (1:07.11) and Zavala took fourth in the 1,000 free (10:27.49).
D'Arcy started her day by finishing eighth in the 100 fly (55.18), and later finished in 18th-place in the 100 free (53.24).

The Roadrunners will open their home schedule on October 19 at 2:00 p.m. with the CSUB Sprint Classic and will remain at home the following day with the Roadrunner Invite at 10:00 a.m.
