Student Affairs Hosts First Student Pep Rally Oct. 17

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – CSU Bakersfield Athletics is partnering with Campus Programming, Student Union, ASI, Student Athlete Advisory Committee, and Residential Life to host the first-ever `Runner Student Pep Rally on Wednesday, Oct. 17 in the Icardo Center at 6 p.m.

Students in attendance will receive free pizza, a game day t-shirt, and prize giveaways. They'll also have an opportunity to meet the men and women's basketball teams, learn interactive game day chants, and enjoy special performances from dance and spirit. One lucky student sitting in the designated 'golden seat' will also receive $100 cash at the end of the pep rally.

"This event has been years in the making," said Spirit Squad Coordinator, Arthur Smith. "With the way our sports teams have competed over the last few years, this pep rally is the next natural step in the growth of our campus spirit."
