Roadrunners Head North for Labor Day

CSUB prepares for two road games in Northern California this weekend.

BAKERSFIELD, Calif.- CSUB men's soccer will continue a seven-game road trip this Labor Day weekend as they travel to Sacramento State on Friday and UC Davis on Sunday.

The Roadrunners (1-1) split their season-opening weekend with a 2-0 victory over UC Riverside last Friday night before a 5-2 loss last Sunday at Pacific.

CSUB was led offensively last week by Niklas Korber, the sophomore scored a pair of unassisted goals last weekend for the Roadrunners to bring his CSUB career total to five. Team captain Jamie Carey-Morrell netted the first goal of the season against Riverside Friday night.

Sacramento State is 0-1 on the season after falling to Pacific 2-0 in their season opener. Friday's game will kick off at 5 P.M.

UC Davis is 1-1 on the season after a 3-2 loss at SMU to open the season and a 3-1 win at home versus San Francisco. The Aggies play at San Jose State on Friday night before hosting the Roadrunners on Sunday at 4 P.M.
