BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – CSU Bakersfield's men's basketball team continues its season with a busy week filled with three games this week. Before the Roadrunners can return home to enjoy the comfort of the Icardo Center this weekend, CSUB will head to play Fresno State on Tuesday, Dec. 5, at the Save Mart Center.
The Bulldogs are coming off a convincing victory over Long Beach State on the road. The win improved Fresno State's season record to 6-2 and the Bulldog offense averages 83.1 points per game after posting a season-high 106 points against the 49ers. Fresno State is led by Deshon Taylor's 20 points per game while Bryson Williams chips in 12 points and 7 rebounds a contest.
The `Runners (4-5) are coming off of a pair of losses last week including a hard-fought battle at No. 25 UCLA. Redshirt junior Damiyne Durham leads CSUB with 12 points a game and redshirt senior Brent Wrapp's 5.3 assists per game is 52nd-best in NCAA Division I. Four other `Runners are averaging 9.8 points per game or more while senior Shon Briggs' five and a half rebounds are a team high.
