Roadrunners Head Out To Dallas For Another Road Game

BAKERSFIELD, Calif – CSU Bakersfield's women's basketball team is headed for the road again to take on Southern Methodist University. This will be the Roadrunners second road game from their four straight away matches.
 
Sunday, the Mustangs will welcome the `Runners in their first ever match up together with a current record of 3-5. As a team SMU is averaging 63.3 points per game with .704% being from free throws. Defensively, the Texas team is holding off its opponents by a 6.5 difference. The team is led by seniors Mckenzie Adams who averages 21.8 points per game, 5.1 rebounds per game, 13 steals, and 14 assists while Kiara Perry averages 10.1 points per game, 6.4 rebounds per game, 9 assists and 22 steals.
 
The `Runners are excited to see new competition and hopes this prepares them for the upcoming season. After coming off a road win this Monday they hope to get another victory and add more from the offensive end while keeping up their defense.
