LAS VEGAS, NV – The CSU Bakersfield men's swimming and diving team traveled to UNLV for a Western Athletic Conference dual on Saturday afternoon looking to improve to 2-1 on the season, after defeating Pacific last weekend in Bakersfield.
But UNLV came out strong and won the meet 182-111 to drop the `Runners to 1-2 on the season. Despite the loss, there were a few standouts for CSUB.

Chris Hansen, was still able to see the positive results from a certain few on the squad.
"We had a rough day," Hansen said. "UNLV came ready and to be blunt we were off.
Kris Rogic continues to show us he is here to play and defiantly led the men today.
Loren Gillilan,
Adam Estrella and
Lovre Soric also had great swims. To win meets like this we need the entire team to swim great, that didn't happen today."

Estrella won the three meter diving event with a score of 251.48 and finished third in the one meter diving event (39.40).
