CEDAR CITY, Utah—Southern Utah defeated Bakersfield 5-0 in women's soccer action Sunday afternoon

Ally Thimsen put the Thunderbirds (1-1-1) up one in the 18th minute.  Abbie Flandro increased the Southern Utah lead to two with a tally at the 27:17 mark. Aurora Moberly 1:48 before halftime to give the Thunderbirds a 3-0 advantage.

Southern Utah scored again in the 61st minute when Thimsen notched her second of the match.  Nancy Birch tallied the Thunderbirds' fifth goal at 78:13.

The Roadrunners (0-4) host Northern Iowa Friday night. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
