CITY OF INDUSTRY, Calif.--Senior Chase Goodvin (Bakersfield, Calif., Frontier HS) tied for fifth at the Cal State Fullerton Folino Invitational Tuesday. Goodvin shot 71 on Tuesday for a 54-hole total of 218. Goodvin tied with UC Irvine's Pete Fernandez. Mark Anguiano of Cal State Fullerton was the medalist (204).

Jin Park (R-Jr., Burbank, Calif., Glendale CC) tied for 19th with four others (229). Trevor Stan (Fr., Mission Viejo, Calif., Bakersfield Liberty HS) finished 48th (243). Dylan Lym (Jr., Evanston, Wyo., Evanston HS) was 50th (250). Brett Kettler (R-Fr., Bakersfield, Calif., Liberty HS) placed 51st (254).

As a team, Bakersfield finished ninth (940). Cal State Fullerton was the team champion (863).

"Having Chase in the lineup gives us credibility which gives us a chance to compete," said Bakersfield director of golf Greg Osbourne.

The Roadrunners return to the links Mar. 3-4 at the Sacramento State Invitational which will be played at Valley Hi CC in Elk Grove, Calif.
