Biography
2012-13 (JUNIOR): Second on team in scoring average at 75.90...finished second at the CSUB Invitational, losing in a playoff after tying for first in regulation...tied for 17th at the Sacramento State Invitational...posted a season low 70 in each of the first two rounds of the Sacramento State Invitational...tied for 51st at the American Sky Conference Championships.
2011-12 (SOPHOMORE): Posted the second-best per-round average (76.8)...led the team by finishing as the lowest ‘Runner in six contests…started the season with a bang with his lowest round of the season, a 68 at the Firestone Grill Cal Poly Invitational where he went on to post a 10-over 223 and tie for 23rd…lowest finish of the year came at the Bill Cullum Invitational when he posted a 2-over 218 to tie for 18th place…carded a 35-over 251 to take 48th place at the American Sky Conference Championships.
2010-11 (FRESHMAN): Led the team in scoring average (73.3)...11-of-24 rounds on the year were under par...shot a third round 68 in the season opening Firestone Grill Cal Poly Invitational leading CSUB to a third place finish...placed second at the Cal State Northridge Bill Cullum Invitational (74-69-69-212)...tied for second at the Cal State Fullerton Folino Invitational (70-72-73-215) after leading the first two rounds of the event...tied for second (71-71-142) at the Lamkin Grip/Cal Poly Challenge...was the top finishing Roadrunner player in all but event during the season.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2010 graduate of Frontier High School...coach was Nick Kaiser...a three-time All-South West Yosemite League selection...chosen team MVP from 2007-2010...selected All-Area as a senior...holds Frontier High School, SWYL, and area record for lowest round with an eight under 64 at the 2010 North Kern Area Tournament...holds the Frontier school record for scoring average (72.3, 2010)...was the overall area champion in 2010 and earned Division 2 Area honors in 2008 and 2009...team won 2010 Division 2 Valley Championship...graduated high school with a 4.2 GPA and ranked in the top-5 percentile...received an academic excellence award for receiving of a 4.0 overall GPA for four years.
