BAKERSFIELD, Calif.- CSUB Roadrunner Athletics is once again partnering with Bob Bender Productions and the Bakersfield Fox Theater for a concert benefitting the Roadrunner Scholarship Fund on December 11, presented by Motor City Auto Center.
Following the success of Wyonna Judd in 2013, this year's performer will be former Academy of Country Music 'New Artist of the Year' Easton Corbin. Easton has been all over the country music charts the last few years with number-one hits like “A Little More Country Than That,” “Roll With It,” and top-ten hits “All Over the Road” and “Lovin' You Is Fun.”
Easton Corbin has already released a pair of singles from his third studio album entitled “Clockwork” and will have plenty of hits and new material to entertain Bakersfield fans at the majestic Fox Theater on Thursday, December 11th.
Local country group Truxton Mile will open for Easton Corbin. The Bakersfield/Taft-based trio played to a sold out audience at Buck Owens Crystal Palace earlier this year and will be releasing their first album entitled “On My Way EP” in November.

“We would like to personally thank Bob Bender and his company along with the Fox Theater for being such great partners in this event,” said interim athletics director Ziggy Siegfried. “This concert has become one of our most profitable fundraisers and we are very excited about Easton Corbin performing in front of a packed house.”
Proceeds from the concert will go to benefit the Roadrunner Scholarship Fund, which creates educational opportunities for over 300 student-athletes at CSUB. Front orchestra tickets are available for $55, back orchestra tickets are $45 while lower balcony tickets are $35 and upper balcony tickets are just $25.
Sponsor and VIP package are available with this year's VIP experience, including two front orchestra tickets and access to the pre-show VIP party which will be held at nearby Metro Gallery downtown for $250.
Tickets can be purchased through Vallitix.com or the Fox Theater box office.
Sponsorship and VIP packages can be purchased through CSUB Athletics by calling Mark Mayes at (661) 654-3473.
