BAKERSFIELD, Calif.--Tyler Iwamura (R-Sr., San Diego, Calif., Santa Fe Christian HS) and Bryce Hammond (R-Fr., Bakersfield, Calif., Bakersfield HS) begin wrestling for CSU Bakersfield at the NCAA Division I Championships this week at the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, Iowa.

Iwamura (23-8), the Pac-12 Champion at 125 pounds, takes on Old Dominion's Rob Deutsch in the first round Thursday morning at 9 a.m. (PDT). Hammond (33-8), the Pac-12 Champ at 174, faces Matt Mougin of Northern Illinois to begin the tournament Thursday morning.

The second round of the tournament begins Thursday night at 4:30 p.m. (PDT). Sessions three (8 a.m. PDT) and four will take place on Friday (4 p.m. PDT). The final sessions (V and VI) occur Saturday (8 a.m. and 5 p.m. PDT). 

Every session of the tournament will be televised by the ESPN family of networks.  Thursday's first round (9 a.m. (PDT) will be on ESPN as will Thursday's second round (4:30 p.m. PDT). Friday's quarterfinals will be on ESPN U from 8-11 a.m. (PDT) with Friday's semfinal round action on ESPN U from 4-6:30 p.m. (PDT). Saturday's medal round will be shown on ESPN U from 8-11 a.m. (PDT). The championship finals will be televised on ESPN from 5-8 p.m. (PDT).
