Zempare pulled down 11 rebounds and scored nine points.

"Ty did what we wanted her to do," said Bakersfield head coach Greg McCall. "She guards our opponent's top offensive player and she leads us on the offensive end. It was a tough game. Omaha is a really good team. The UNLV game tought us some things on how to play in a close game. We were able to use those lessions against Omaha."

The Roadrunners travel to UC Riverside Tuesday for a 7 p.m. game.
