BAKERSFIELD, Calif.--The CSU Bakersfield wrestling team hosts Cal Baptist Saturday in the Old Gym. The dual gets underway at 2 p.m.

CSUB defeated Cal Baptist 42-3 during the 2008-09 season in the only ever meeting between the two schools. The Lancers are ranked second in the Jan. 18 National Collegiate Wrestling Association Coaches poll. 141-pounder is ranked No. 1 in the NCWA at 141 and is ranked No. 1 in the overall NCWA poll, 17 points higher than the No. 2 NCWA wrestler.

Heavyweight Zach Merrill is ranked second in the NCWA poll at 285 and No. 8 overall in the NCWA. Taylor Hall (7 at 125), Dylan Cataline and Kenneth Tribble are also ranked in the NCWA Top 10.

The Roadrunners improved to 6-3, 1-1 in the Pac-12 with a 22-10 victory over Cal Poly Jan. 12. CSUB won seven of the 10 matches on the night.
