BAKERSFIELD, Calif.--UC Irvine defeated CSU Bakersfield 66-52 in women's basketball action Friday night at the Icardo Center.

Camille Buckley led Irvine with 19 points and 15 rebounds. Methlyn Onogomuho also had a double-double, scoring 12 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. Jennifer Tsurumoto, the Anteaters' leading scorer had 15 points.

The Roadrunners were led by Tyonna Outland (R-So., Compton, Calif., Lynwood HS) who scored 14 points. Cebrina Johnson (R-So., Corona, Calif., Santiago HS) had 12 points despite being limited by foul trouble. Amber Williams (Sr., Fontana, Calif., Etiwanda HS) added 10 for the 'Runners.

UC Irvine (4-8) outrebounded CSUB 47-33 and limited the Roadrunners to eight second half field goals (in 29 attempts). CSUB scored 17 points off of 18 UCI turnovers, making 12 steals.

CSUB (2-13) will travel to Pacific Monday afternoon for 2 p.m. tip.
