CSUB Wrestling Hosts No. 14 Oregon State Sunday In Final Home Wrestling Dual Of 2011 Season

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -CSUB (2-2, 1-1 Pac-10) hosts No. 14 Oregon State (6-3-2, 0-0-1 Pac-10) in the final home wresting dual of the 2011 season Sunday in the Icardo Center. Belltime is set for 2 p.m. Prior to Sunday's dual, CSUB will honor nine seniors for their contributions to the Roadrunners' program.

This is the 31st dual between CSUB and Oregon State with the Beavers leading the all-time series 19-11. Oregon State has won the past two duals including a 35-9 decision last season in Corvallis. Sunday's dual will feature eight nationally ranked wrestlers for Oregon State and five for the Roadrunners.

CSUB's Elijah Nacita (R-Sr., Bakersfield, Calif., Bakersfield HS) has moved into a tie for 11th in school history in career victories (98). Nacitia is now tied for 15th in school history in career pins (21). Riley Orozco (R-Sr., Fallon, Nev., Churchill County HS) has moved into a tie for 14th in school history in career victories (93). Joey Granata (R-Sr., Oceanside, Calif., Fallbrook HS) is now tied for fifth in school history in career pins (32).

CSUB defeated Cal State Fullerton 35-3 last Sunday in the Icardo Center. The Roadrunners won 9-of-10 matches during the dual.
