PASO ROBLES, Calif. — Going head-to-head with Cal Poly in the final competition of the 2010 season, the CSUB women's golf team fell narrowly, 305-320, Saturday and Sunday at The Link at Paso Robles.

The Big West Prep Match was scheduled for 36 holes, but the second round Sunday was suspended and eventually canceled due to high winds.

The Roadrunners were led by Meggan Bellows, who carded a 78, and Dana Arneson, who carded a 79. Other scores for CSUB were an 81 by Jennifer Davison, an 82 by Jenna Barnett, an 83 by Ashley Neal, a 92 by Kaylee Jarvis and a 97 by Katie Walker.

Julia Puscheck and Maddy Fletcher both carded 74s to lead Cal Poly. Alicia Weber carded a 76 and defending Big West individual champion Stephanie Yocum added an 81 to complete Cal Poly's 305 total.

Also competing for the Mustangs were Kirsten Locke with an 82, Caitlin Farley with an 83 and Miquela Pendleton, who did not finish her round.
