BAKERSFIELD, Calif. ? The 2009 Reverse Drawing, held on June 24, marked the conclusion of the CSUB Athletics special event year with the grand prize of $10,000 being captured by Rita Gustafson and Milissa Ackerley of the CSUB Admissions and Records Office.

The annual event, which returned to Wool Grower's drew more than 150 people. Attendees enjoyed dinner, a 50/50 drawing, prizes throughout the evening and the reverse draw, which was played out to one winning number, held by Gustafson and Ackerley. All proceeds from the night benefit the CSUB Student-Athlete Scholarship Fund.

The first special event fundraisier of the 2009-10 year will be the 35th Annual Roadrunner Club Golf Classic to be held on Friday, Sept. 11 at the Rio Bravo Country Club. The event gets underway with a 1:00 p.m. shotgun start. Contact Mark Mayes at 661-654-3473 for more information.
