DAVIS, Calif. ? Despite first place marks from Renee Roy, Stephanie Donnelly and Victoria Kreutz Saturday, the CSUB women's swim team fell 162-123 in dual competition to UC Davis.
Roy cut nearly seven seconds off her season best time in the 1000 yard free, taking the top spot in a time of 11:25.60. She later finished the 500 free in a time of 5:40.21.
Donnelly took first in the 100 yard butterfly, touching the wall in a season-best 1:00.66. The sophomore also had first-place, 2:09.81 finish in the 100 backstroke and a second place, 1:01.67 finish in the 100 back. Her time in the 100 back was just .16 off her season best.
Divers Kreutz and Hannah Yoder placed one-two in both the one-meter and three-meter springboard events. Kreutz totaled 278.55 points off the one-meter board and 299.48 off the three-meter board, while Yoder had scores of 224.48 and 233.10. Kreutz's one-meter score is the second best in the CSUB all-time record book, while her three-meter score also ranks in the CSUB top five, coming in at No. 4.
Leah Felber also had a solid outing, posting a 1:58.63, second place time in the 200 free and a 5:16.62, second place time in the 500 free.
The Roadrunners have one dual remaining on their 2009 schedule, a Feb. 7, 1 p.m. match-up against Loyola Marymount at the Hillman Aquatics Center.
