BAKERSFIELD, Calif. ? Four Roadrunners won individual events, but the visiting UC Davis Aggies would claim the 120-79 win over CSUB's women's swim team Sunday at the Hillman Aquatics Center.
Swimming in her final home meet, senior Erin Craft took first in the 200 yard backstroke in a time of 1:01.31. Craft also placed third in the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 25.60.
The ?Runners other senior, Rachel Schell, had fifth place finishes in the 200 yard freestyle and the 100 yard freestyle.
Junior Lexie Kelly won the 100 yard butterfly in a time of 1:03.13 while fellow junior Veronica Campbell turned in a 1:08.67 first-place finish in the 100 yard breaststroke.
CSUB's Leah Felber turned in a pair of runner-up finishes in the 200 yard freestyle and the 500 yard freestyle. The sophomore finished the 200 free in a time of 1:59.72 and the 500 free in a time of 5:20.44.
In the diving events, sophomore Emily Bissett took first off the 1-meter board with 214.28 points. Junior Victoria Kreutz, who missed the last three meets due to a hand injury, placed fourth with a point total of 189.30. On the 3-meter board, Bissett took the runner-up position with 217.65 points while Kreutz was third with 211.20 points. UC Davis senior Krysta Chaldekas won the event with 234.45 points.
The ?Runners break from competition for a month until the Conference USA Championships on Feb. 27 through March 1 in Houston, Texas.
