THIS WEEK: With the opportunity to shake up the Pac-10 rankings, CSUB take on three Pac-10 opponents in two days this week. On
Friday the ?Runners open up competition against University of Oregon at 4 p.m. in Eugene, Ore. Then they travel to Salem, Ore., for a 7:30 p.m. match-up against Oregon State. On Saturday, CSUB wraps up competition at 7 p.m. at Portland State.

LAST WEEK: The Roadrunners moved to 1-1 on Pac-10 action after splitting a pair of dual meets in the Icardo Center. CSUB looked like two entirely different teams as it opened the day with a 35-6 loss to Boise State, then bounced back for an inspiring 22-13 win over Arizona State. Headlining that win was Garth Wara's (197) 9-7 overtime victory over then No. 17 nationally ranked Jason Trulson and Daniel Atondo's (165) 3-1 decision against No. 12 Patrick Pitsch.

FIRST TO 20: Senior Jeremy Doyle (149) earned a 12-8 decision over Arizona State's Orlando Jimenez, improving his season record to 20-10. Doyle has strung together winning streaks of three on three occasions. The Ramona, Calif., native who has also only dropped back-to-back matches twice this year, now had 46 career victories. Others closing in on 20 wins are freshman Trevor Hall (157) and senior Ryan Bergman (285), who are both 18-10 heading into this week's action.

PAC-10 RANKINGS: With new Pac-10 rankings out for this first time since Dec. 10, the ?Runners saw little movement in their respective positioning. At No. 3, Daniel Atondo (165) holds the highest ranking of all CSUB wrestlers. Jeremy Doyle (149) and Brandon Zoetewey (125) each come in at No. 4 while Thomas Kimbrell (133), Elijah Nacita (141) and Jason Points (174) are each ranked No. 5. With three Pac-10 duals this week, the ?Runners may have the opportunity to take on 12 higher-ranked opponents, assuming the top wrestlers compete in each match.

PIN FOR A WIN: Through 407 matches, the Roadrunners have earned 61 of their 245 wins by virtue of a pin. That number already matches the 2006-07 season total. Leading the way in that statistical category is sophomore Daniel Montanez (174) who, after two pins at the Menlo Invite, now has five on the season. Six wrestlers, including freshmen Elijah Nactica (141), Trevor Hall (157) and Riley Orozco (184) and seniors Jeremy Doyle (149), Daniel Alejandro (157) and Ryan Bergman (285), each have totalled four pins. However, the ?Runners fastest pin to date (23 seconds) came by the hands of freshman Justin Durham (133).

KERR NEARING 400 CAREER WINS: Head Coach T.J. Kerr enters Saturday's Pac-10 dual meets with a 35-year career record of 397-198-7. With nine dual meets remaining on the this season's schedule, Kerr needs wins in just three of those to reach 400 career victories. Now in his 24th season at the helm of the Roadrunner program, Kerr also owns a 215-128-4 record at CSUB.

UP NEXT: Pac-10 action rolls on as the Roadrunners travel to UC Davis and Stanford on Jan. 23 and 24. Both dual meets begin at 7 p.m. CSUB continues on the road for the remainder of the week with a non-conference dual at San Francisco State on Jan. 25 followed by the San Francisco State Open on Jan. 26.
