FULLERTON, Calif. – Seniors Tommy Vargas, Anthony Baza and Brian Busby each took home individual titles as the Cal State Bakersfield wrestling team took part in the 2005 Fullerton Invitational Saturday at Titan Gym.

In addition to the senior trio, four other wrestlers placed at the tournament. Senior Christian Arellano placed fourth at 174 pounds, junior Eric Parker was fifth at heavyweight, freshman Zack Bigboy finished sixth at 125, and sophomore Daniel Atondo was seventh at 157.

The tournament did not feature team scoring and individual match results were not available at press time.

Cal State Bakersfield returns to the mat on Tuesday (Nov. 22) for the annual Blue/Gold intersquad scrimmage beginning at 7 p.m. in the Icardo Center.
