Ryan Brimer enters his second season as an Assistant Coach at Cal State Bakersfield in Fall of 2025. A former Roadrunner swimmer and team captain, Brimer brings a combination of collegiate experience, leadership, and analytical expertise to the program.
In addition to his work with the CSUB Swim & Dive program, Brimer also oversees all aspects of Roadrunner Aquatics, which serves nearly 200 swimmers ranging from learn-to-swim participants to Junior National qualifiers, as well as an adult Masters program.
Prior to returning to coaching, Brimer worked as a Capital Analyst for The Wonderful Company, where he developed large-scale financial models for multimillion-dollar projects and created automated systems to improve operational efficiency.
A native of Santa Clarita, Calif., Brimer graduated from Cal State Bakersfield with a Bachelor of Science in Economics, concentrating in Supply Chain Logistics and Data Analytics. During his time as a student-athlete, Brimer was a five-year member and a two-year captain of the CSUB men’s team while also serving on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
During his time as a `Runner, Brimer qualified for and competed in the Toyota US Open. He was a four-time All-Conference honoree, including earning a silver medal in the 200 Freestyle at the MPSF Championships during his senior season.
