2012-13 (R-JUNIOR): Finished season 7-18 with two pins...was fifth at the Pac-12 Tournament.

2011-12 (R-SOPHOMORE): Ranked No. 1 in the state of California at heavyweight for Palomar JC before sitting out regional and state championship tournaments due to injury...selected to wrestle for the South team in the Cadlifornia Communtiy College North-South All-Star Match.

2010-11 (R-FRESHMAN): Did not compete.

2009-10 (REDSHIRT): Sat out the season as a redshirt at Navy.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2008 graduate of Poway High School, Cervantes attended the Naval Academy Prep School during the 2008-09 academic year...lettered in football and wrestling...a two-time freestyle finalist as a sophomore and junior, he took seventh at the state meet his junior year.

PERSONAL: Born Feb. 5, 1990...son of Anselmo and Elizabeth Cervantes....a criminal justice major.
