2019-20 (FRESHMAN): Was 11-7 at 184 and 197 pounds, while redshirting...Competed in three tournaments, winning at least three bouts in each...Defeated Embry-Riddle's Oliver Myers (16-0) in first career match-up...Posted three wins at the Roadrunner Open...Went 4-1 at the Reno Tournament of Champions, including an 11-9 win over Wyoming's Stephen Buchanan...Was 4-0 with two pins, and did not allow a single point against, to win the California Collegiate...Defeated California Baptist's Arick Lopez (6-0) in championship bout of California Collegiate. 

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2019 graduate of Monache High School in Porterville, Calif... coached by Arthur Demerath... league champion all four years of high school.

PERSONAL: Born on Mar. 16, 2000 in Porterville, Calif...son of Mark & Tammy Cardwell...plans to major in Kinesiology, and plans to be a physical education teacher after his time at CSUB.
