GUNN HS: Kiyoshi Kawano hails from Gunn HS in Palo Alto, Calif...was a two-time All-Santa Clara Valley Athletic League selection and a two-time state qualifier...also named the Titans’ team MVP his senior season...also competed in gymnastics for the Stanford Gymnastics Club...was a four-time state champion.

PERSONAL: Kawano has not declared a major at CSUB...plans to become a firefighter or a coach following graduation...enjoys break dancing and poetry.
