Biography

2022-23 (SENIOR): Participated as the team's primary 184 wrestler, earning a 7-13 overall record on the season while tying for a team-leading three pins...Defeated both opponents at the Roadrunner open to advance to Quarterfinals before a medical forfeit, defeating both Oregon State's Jackson McKinney in a 6-2 decision and by 13-3 major decision over Utah Valley's Hunter Morse...Pinned Northern Colorado's Britten and Central Michigan's Cushman in duals...Final bout of his CSUB career led to a fifth place finish at the Pac-12 Championships where he pinned Little Rock's Mason Diel just 54 seconds into the match, getting revenge for a 14-11 dual loss to Diel earlier in the season.

2021-22 (JUNIOR): Posted a 15-13 overall record in his first season as a 'Runner...Wrestled to a 10-6 mark in tournament competition...Placed 3rd at the Roadrunner Open with a 4-1 record...Finished 2-2 at the Cliff Keen Invitational...1-2 with a pin at the Southern Scuffle...Was 5-7 in dual meet competition...First career dual victory came against Central Michigan's Ben Cushman...Won four-consecutive duals against American, Arizona State, California Baptist and Stanford...2-2 in conference duals...Was 3-1 at the Pac-12 Championship to finish 3rd at 185 lbs...Beat ASU's Josh Nummer 13-4 in 3rd place bout...Posted four major decision wins, and won once each by tech fall and pin. 

PREVIOUS COLLEGE: Wrestled for two seasons at Moorpark College...Coached by Lindley Kistler...2019 California State Champion...Two-time Dean's List selection. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Royal High School in Simi Valley, Calif...Coached by Richard Carrillo...Three-time Team MVP & All-League Selection...Became the first CIF Medalist in RHS history in 2019, helping team to a CIF Championship.
