Biography

2024-25 (R-JUNIOR): Second-straight season as Bakersfield’s starting 165 pounder…Posted a 16-10 record on the year, including 11-6 in duals, and 0-7 against ranked opponents…Put together a 9-match win streak midway through the season…Took third at Pac-12 Championships with 8-4 decision over Oregon State in the third-place match…Placed second at Roadrunner Open with 3-1 record…Went 1-2 at Cliff Keen Las Vegas.

2023-24 (R-SOPHOMORE): CSUB’s primary 165 pounder…Led all `Runners with 17 wins and four pins…Finished year with 17-15 record, including 4-8 record in duals and 0-6 against ranked opponents…Won Menlo Open with 4-0 day…Placed third at Roadrunner Open with 5-1 record…Four of six ranked losses were via decision…Went 2-2 at Southern Scuffle…Placed fifth at Pac-12 Championships with 1-2 record...OFFSEASON: Trained with international wrestlers from Iran and Turkey.

PRIOR TO CSUB: Competed at University of Wyoming for three seasons…Coached by Mark Branch…In 2022-23, posted a 9-11 record, including an 0-3 record against ranked goes, while making five starts in duals…Took a redshirt in 2021-22 and tallied a 15-8 record…In the pandemic-shortened 2020-21 season, went 4-4.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2020 graduate of Los Altos High School…Coached by TJ Dawson…Was a CIF State Champion in 2020 and earned First Team All-San Gabriel Valley honors…Won the Battle for the Belt and the Doc Buchanan Tournament and finished runner-up at Fargo Tournament.

PERSONAL: A business major with a concentration in management…After his time at CSUB, wants to be a teacher and to coach young wrestlers.
