Biography

2010-11: Enrolled at CSUB in the Winter quarter, wrestling unattached at the San Francisco State Open...advanced to finals of the tournament before losing to Cal Poly’s Filip Novachkov.

2009-10: Did not compete.

2008-09 (SOPHOMORE): Went 5-6 in limited action for the University of Illinois...earned a 2-2 mark at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational.

2007-08 (FRESHMAN): Full-time starter at 149 as a true-freshman for the University of Illinois...finished season with a 19-11 record...tied for the team lead with four wins by fall...won the Missouri Open fresh-soph title at 149...was 4-2 at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational, falling one win short of placing...went 2-1 at Midlands Open before having to default out of the tournament.

HIGH SCHOOL: Fourth-place finisher at the Class AAA PIAA State Championships in 2007 for Bald Eagle Area High School...finished third in the Class AAA PIAA State Championships in 2006 and fifth in 2005...compiled a career record of 192-22...fourth-place finisher at the Beast of the East tournament...a two-time Northwest Regional champion.

PERSONAL: Born Dec. 13, 1988...son of Bruce and Brenda Paswall...a communications major.
