Biography

2022-23 (R-JUNIOR): Went 10-13 on the season, placing sixth at the Pac-12 championships and finishing with a 2-4 record against ranked opponents...Had a roaring start to the season, going 3-2 at the Menlo Open before initially making it to the Roadrunner Open Quarterfinals, placing third after fighting all the way through the consolation rounds...Defeated American's No. 25 Maximilian Leete in sudden victory...Got revenge on his Little Rock counterpart, losing to Reno 12-10 in the dual before earning a 10-5 victory in the Pac-12 Championships...Established himself as the regular 125 wrestler for CSUB as the season went along.

2021-22 (R-SOPHOMORE): Finished the season 8-19, including a 3-9 dual record as CSUB's top option at 125 lbs...Was 5-10 in tournament competition...Placed 2nd at the Roadrunner Open with a 2-1 mark...Split four matches at the Tournament of Champions...2-1 in Chattanooga at the Southern Scuffle, with a win over Michigan State's Julian Saldana...Also represented the 'Runners at the Cliff Keen Invitational in Las Vegas, Nev...Posted dual meet wins against American, California Baptist and Stanford...Finished 6th at the Pac-12 Championships...Won three times by fall. 

2020-21 (WAIVER): Finished the season 1-4 at the 125 pound weight class...Defeated Little Rock's Khyler Brewer to place fifth at the Pac-12 Championship...Faced a pair of ranked opponents. 

2019-20 (WAIVER): Saw action in three tournaments for the `Runners...Was 3-1, wrestling to a second place finish at the Menlo Open...Posted four wins at the Roadrunner Open, including a 10-4 decision over Cal Poly's Cole Reyes and a 4-2 victory over Stanford's Jackson DiSario en route to a fourth-place finish...Was 2-2 at the California Collegiate. 

2018-19 (FRESHMAN): Went 5-12 overall at 125 pounds...had a 1-8 record in dual action with his lone victory coming against Fresno State's Robert Garcia IV to help win the Feud on the Field...finished fourth at the Pac-12 Championships after earning an 11-3 major decision over Cal Poly's Benny Martinez in the opening round...won the Bill Musick Open to start his career with three straight decisions.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Northview High School in Covina, Cailf...San Gabriel Valley Wrestler of the Year...Maintained a 3.0 GPA...First four-time CIF Champion for Northview HS...Three-time southern section champion...Two-time state placer...2017 state finalist.

PERSONAL: Communication major, with a minor in Sociology...Hopes to work in Public Relations after graduation.
