Biography

PORTLAND STATE: Brady Garner wrestled for Portland State in 2007-09 before transferring to CSUB after the Vikings discontinued their program…went 20-18 in 2008-09, competing at 174 and 184…placed eighth at the Pac-10 Championships…named team MVP in 2009…had the third most wins on the team (12) as a redshirt freshman in 2007-08.

PRESTON HS: Garner was a four-year wrestling letterwinner at Preston High School in Preston, Idaho…three-time all-area selection…was the 2006 Idaho 4A High School State Champion…state runner-up in 2005…holds school records for career wins (150), pins (34) and near falls (114)…also a member of the Indians’ baseball team…was All-Valley Player of the Year and an all-state selection.

PERSONAL: Garner is an education major at CSUB…parents are Shair and Lynn Garner…born Jan. 5, 1988, in Logan, Utah.
