2006: Yulia Blinovskaya proved to be every bit as good as her credentials said she was in her first year with the Roadrunners program…tied a school record for single-season goals with 91…averaged 2.53 goals per game…led team in scoring 19 of 36 contests…scored a team-best seven goals in a 12-8 victory over UC Santa Cruz…scored three of more goals 14 times and four or more goals six times…played in all 36 matches.

MOSCOW STATE UNIVERSITY OF MEANS OF COMMUNICATIONS: Blinovskaya came to Bakersfield after developing into one of the top young water polo players in all of Russia…was captain of the Russian junior national team…led the team to a second place finish in an international tournament twice…team placed third in the European Championships…played on seven-time Russian championship team and three-time runner-up at the Euro Cup…was also a tennis player and was ranked No. 14 in Russia as a junior.
