2010:
Kaitlin Torres garnered second team All–WWPA regular and postseason honors...led the team with 74 goals in 37 games, an average of 2.00 per contest...named the WWPA Player of the Week on March 16 after scoring 15 times in five games over the weekend...moved to No. 12 on the all–time scoring list with 109 career tallies in just two seasons...led the team in scoring 21 times...scored goals in 31 of her 37 games...scored multiple goals in 22 of those games and had at least a hat trick in 11 contests...season–high of five goals against Santa Clara (4–11–10)...recorded hat tricks against CSU San Bernardino (1–29–10) and Santa Clara (4–30–10)...netted four goals against Pomona–Pitzer (1–23–10), Cal Lutheran (2–12–10), Colorado State (2–13–10), CSU Monterey Bay (2–14–10), then–No. 9 Loyola Marymount (3–12–10), then–No. 18 Princeton (3–13–10), Marist (3–13–10) and then–No. 20 UC San Diego (3–27–10).

2009:
Torres averaged a goal a game for the Roadrunners in 2009, netting 35 in 35 appearances...finished sixth on the team in goals (35), goals per game (1.00), shot attempts (76) and assists (14)...her 33.3 shooting percentage was the third highest mark on the team...led the team in scoring on four different occasions.

EL DIAMANTE HS:
Torres earned second team All-America honors at El Diamante High School under head coach Jon Conrad...scored six of her team’s seven goals to lift the Miners to the CIF Central Section Division II championship during her senior season...she was also named the Central Section Division II MVP...her 166 season and 304 career goals are both school records...named a CIF Central Section first team performer as a junior and was twice named the West Yosemite League MVP...member of three league championship teams...named the 2008 Miner of the Year...also played basketball and was a member of the swim team...held a 4.0 GPA throughout high school.

PERSONAL:
Torres is a physical education and kinesiology major at CSUB...cousin, Randy Fasani, played quarterback at Stanford and then professionally for the NFL’s Carolina Panthers...transferred to CSUB from the College of the Sequoias but did not play water polo there.
