2011-12 (FRESHMAN): Competed in two events, the Pacific and UC Santa Cruz duals...raced in the 200 free and 200 IM in both duals...CSUB WATER POLO: Played in 10 matches for the Roadrunners, posting two assists and one steal.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2011 graduate of Centennial High School...played her club polo for the Bakersfield Water Polo Club, coached by CSUB Head Coach Jason Gall, over the past two years...as a member of Bakersfield Polo, Cruz has gained valuable experience traveling throughout the state of California competing at various competitive club events...played three years of softball for Centennial High School and also swam for the school’s varsity squad as a freshman...qualified for the Valley Championships in her first year, swimming Junior Olympic cut times, and was tabbed the swim team’s Rookie of the Year.
