Biography
2006-07: Tessa Brown recorded season-best times of 1:09.19 in the 100 breaststroke, 2:33.02 in the 200 breaststroke and 5:41.43 in the 500 free.
TEHACHAPI HS: Brown didn’t have to travel far to move to her collegiate swimming program as she came down the mountain from Tehachapi to join the Roadrunners... had a very successful prep career, including team MVP and captain honors...holds school records in each of the 50 and 100 freestyles and 50 and 100 breaststrokes...she was the only female swimmer to qualify for the CIF Central Section Championships all three years that she was on the team...best times in high school were 25.94 in the 50 free and 1:09.97 in the 100 breast...also played basketball for the Warriors.
PERSONAL: Brown is a liberal studies major at CSUB...plans to become an elementary school teacher...parents are Chris and Karen Brown.
