2006-07: Simon? Swanepoel raced for the Roadrunners’ top times in the 50 free (24.40) and the 100 free (53.07)...also had season-best times of 1:54.98 in the 200 free, 1:00.00 in the 100 fly, 1:07.70 in the 100 breaststroke, and 2:10.76 in the 200 IM...was also a member of five relay squads that had season-bests of 1:49.10 (200 medley relay), 3:58.87 (400 medley relay), 1:37.36 (200 free relay), 3:34.52 (400 free relay) and 7:39.80 (800 free relay).

2005-06: Swanepoel recorded season-best times of 24.72 in the 50 free, 53.44 in the 100 free and 1:57.43 in the 200 free...also a member of the 200 free relay team that had a season-best time of 1:37.45.

OHIO UNIVERSITY: Swanepoel transferred after an already successful early collegiate career at Ohio University...in one season with the Bobcats, she swam on the Mid-American Conference championship 800 freestyle relay team...led off that relay and the team finished in 7:31.19...team placed second in the MAC...also swam 1:53.1 (200 free) and 5:04.0 (500 free).

CRAWFORD COLLEGE: Swanepoel distinguished herself as one of the top young females swimmers in South Africa...placed fourth in the 100 freestyle at the South African championships, as well as finishing fifth in the 200 free...was also part of a team that set the All-African record in the 800 freestyle relay.

PERSONAL: Swanepoel is biology major at CSUB...also earning a minor in chemistry...plans to attend medical school following graduation from CSUB...parents are Francois and Rentia Swanepoel.
