Biography
2019-20 (JUNIOR): Swam nine different events, earning seven top-10 finishes on the season...Competed in the 500 Free, the 1650 Free and the 400 IM at the WAC Championships.
2018-19 (SOPHOMORE): Competed in the 400 IM (4:40.24) and 500 free (5:11.07) at the WAC Championships...had nine top-five finishes on the season...finished as the runner-up in the 1,000 free against UNLV (10:58.18).
2017-18 (FRESHMAN): Finished 17th in 400 IM (4:39.05), 26th in 500 free (5:11.16) and 18th in 1,650 free (17:42.70) at WAC Championships...recorded season-best times in all three races at WAC Championships...placed 21st in the 200 breast (2:28.93) at the UNLV Invite in season-best time…recorded six top-five finishes.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2017 graduate of Woodcreek High School...coach was Scott Bergemann…Helped lead frosh/soph squad to win CIF Section Championships in 2014…named All-League in 2015…placed second in 500 free at League Championships in 2015, seventh in Section Championships in 2016…helped Timberwolves break 200 medley relay record as breaststroke leg in 2016.
PERSONAL: Born Mar. 11, 1999...daughter of Marty and Holly Buell…Majoring in biology…mother competed in track and volleyball in college while father competed in water polo and swimming in junior college…born in Sacramento, Calif.
