Biography
SIERRA COLLEGE: Rachel Holm earned California Community College Athletic Association All-American honors while swimming for Sierra College...led the team to second place finishes at the Big 8 Conference Championships and the State Championships in 2008 and 2009...was a member of the school record-setting 200 and 400 medley relay teams...was also the team captain of the water polo team in 2008, helping the squad to the Big 8 Conference Championship.
ROCKLIN HS: Holm earned All-Sierra Foothill Conference honors in 2006 and 2007 while competing at Rocklin High School...two-time team captain of the swim team...also named team MVP and captain of the Thunder water polo team...led the squad to league titles in 2005 and 2006.
PERSONAL: Holm is a physical education and kinesiology major at CSUB...career plans include becoming an athletic trainer and P.E. teacher...enjoys skiing, surfing, shopping, watching movies and watching football...parents are Greg and Kelly Holm...born June 21, 1989, in San Diego, Calif.
