2023-24 (FRESHMAN): Focused on distance freestyle events…Placed top three in 11 dual meet events, including eight individual victories…Reset CSUB records in 500 free (4:48.17) and 1000 free (10:00.14, mile split) at MPSF Championships…Broke CSUB 1650 free record at Big Al Invitational (16:37.44)…Earned silver medal and First Team All-MPSF in both 500 and 1650 free at Conference…Earned Second Team All-Conference with sixth-place finish in 200 free…Also reset 400 IM (4:26.16) personal best at Big Al Invitational and 200 free (1:50.13) PR at Conference…Represented CSUB at TYR Pro Series meet in Westmont, Ill., placing seventh in 1500-meter free, 10th in 800m free, and 15th in 400m free…Earned Academic All-MPSF and Academic All-District honors.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2023 graduate of Etowah High School in Woodstock, Ga….Coached by Kaitlyn Smith…Earned Second Team All-State honors as a senior, Team MVP final two seasons, and First Team All-County all four years…Named a Team Captain senior year…Helped 400 free relay team set school and county records as a sophomore…Competed for Chattahoochee Gold Swim Club and was a Junior Nationals Qualifier in 2023.
PERSONAL: Plans to major in environmental resources management and hopes to work in the petroleum industry after her time at CSUB.
