2024-25 (SOPHOMORE): Continued swimming backstrokes and 100 fly while dabbling with 100 free…Earned All-Conference honors in 100 back and 100 fly in same session at Big West Championships…In Prelims at conference, posted personal best 100 fly (54.88) and 100 back (55.24) times, both of which rank Top 5 in CSUB history…Also climbed Top 5 list in 200 back with time of 2:00.83 at Big West meet where she scored points in B-finals…Arguably the busiest `Runner at Conference, swimming three relays and four individual events…Posted personal best in 100 free (51.97) as leadoff for 400 free relay at Conference…Earned Academic All-Conference and CSC Academic All-District honors...OFFSEASON: Took part in the Keck Graduate Institute Clinical Genetics and Bioinformatics summer program.
2023-24 (FRESHMAN): Focused on backstroke events and 100 butterfly…Placed top three in 12 dual meet events, including five individual victories…Scored points in 100 back and 100 fly at MPSF Championships, finishing 15th in both events...Posted third-fastest 100 back time (55.82) in CSUB history at Big Al Invitational...Helped 200 medley relay team post second-best time in CSUB history at MPSF Championships...Led off 400 medley relay's CSUB Top 5 swim (3:42.92) at Big Al Invitational with third-fastest time ever…Season-best times: 50 free (23.89), 100 back (55.82), 200 back (2:04.52), 100 fly (56.12), 200 fly (2:14.94).
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2022 graduate of Burnside High School in Christchurch, New Zealand…Competed in club swimming under coach Pete Burgon…At 2023 New Zealand Age Group Championships (Long Course), finished runner-up in the 50 butterfly…In 2022 at the NZ Short Course Championships, placed second in the 50 fly and 100 fly and third in the 200 fly, 50 back, 100 back, and 200 back.
PERSONAL: A biology major (biotechnology concentration) who plans to pursue graduate studies in genetics and/or biotechnology after graduation...Working on a minor in psychology.
