Rachel McCall begins her first season as a volunteer assistant coach at CSU Bakersfield. 

McCall will assistant head coach Chris Hansen with the sprinters and will head up the Roadrunner Aquatics' Learn To Swim program.

McCall concluded a stellar career for the Roadrunners in 2012 as the school record holder in the 100 and 200 breaststroke, and in the long course 200 freestyle. She also holds a portion of the school record in the 200 medley relay. McCall qualified for the 2012 Canadian Olympic Trials, finishing 38th in the 200 freestyle, setting a CSUB long course school record in the event.

McCall was a multi-time conference placewinner in the MPSF and was named to the 2012 Capital One Academic All District ® Women’s At-Large Team, selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America, the first for a CSUB women's swimmer since CSUB transitioned to the Division I level in 2006.
