Melissa Gore joined the CSU Bakersfield swimming and diving coaching staff in summer of 2017. She is the diving coach for both the men's and women's programs.

"I am excited to have Melissa join our staff. She will bring a new energy to diving that is much needed," said Coach Hansen

Gore was a four-year letterwinner at CSUB during her collegiate career. She raised personal bests through her senior year and came up a mere three points shy of joining the CSUB Top 5 all-time list on the 1-meter board with a career high 268.90 points.

She also earned Western Athletic Conference Diver of the Week honors during her sophomore campaign. Gore was a regular contributor of points to the women's team in duals and at the WAC Championships throughout her Roadrunner career.

Gore graduated from CSUB with a degree in kinesiology in 2017. A native of Taft, Calif., Gore earned All-American status in diving while competing at Taft Union high school.
