2006-07: Astrid Amsallem set three CSUB varsity swimming records during the 2006-07 season...recorded a record time of 4:57.62 in the 500 free at the PCSC Championships...recorded a record time of 10:17.06 in the 1000 free at the PCSC Championships...recorded a record time of 16:58.58 in the 1650 free at the PCSC Championships...in addition, her top time in the 200 free was 1:51.79, set at the American Short Course Championships...also a member of the 800 free relay team that earned a season-best time of 7:39.80.

2005-06: Amsallem came to CSU Bakersfield from France.

PERSONAL: Amsallem is a business administration major at CSUB...plans to earn an MBA in international business...parents are Pierre and Maud Amsallem.
