Biography
CAL STATE BAKERSFIELD: Alyssa Lewis has developed into one of the top athletes on campus over the past three years…runs cross country and track and field as well as competing on the swim team…current school record holder in the steeplechase with an 11:43.85 at the 2006 CCAA Championships…also competes in the backstroke and individual medley events in swimming.
SHAFTER HS: Lewis was a three-sport athlete at Shafter HS…competed in swimming, track and field, and swimming…competed in the CIF State Championships and finished in 19:48.
PERSONAL: Major is mathematics at Bakersfield…sister Miranda also competed in track and field for the Roadrunners…parents are Terry and Joni Lewis.
