California State University at Bakersfield Athletics

BAKERSFIELD COLLEGE: Jessica Chvala showed her athleticism well during her junior college days at Bakersfield College…in addition to running cross country, she also competed in softball as well as track and field…finished 54th at the 2004 Western State Conference Championships in cross country…also hit .350 as a sophomore for the Renegade softball team with 24 runs scored, 21 runs batted in, a .427 on-base percentage and a .573 slugging percentage…in track and field, she not only ran but also competed in the javelin and hammer.

BAKERSFIELD HS: Chvala competed for three season in cross country for the Drillers…also was a standout softball and soccer player at Bakersfield HS.

PERSONAL: Major is liberal studies at Bakersfield…sister Joslyn played softball at Notre Dame de Namur University…parents are Jimmy and Nancy Chvala.
