2023-24 (FRESHMAN): Cross Country - In her first season as a Roadrunner, competed in three meets...Ran a 26:47.9 in the 5k at the Seawolf Invite. Outdoor - Did not participate in any races.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2022 graduate of Wasco High School...Was coached by Omar Garcia...Helped Wasco High to a 2018 Valley Championships and a 2021 Valley Runner-UP...Was SSL All-League all four years of high school...Appointed team captain from 2019-2021...Holds the school record for 3 miles (18:12) and is a member of the DMR school record...Was the recipient of the 2022 Tiger of the Year award and is a life member of the California Scholarship Federation.
PERSONAL: A native of Wasco, Calif...Major is liberal studies...Ixchel plans on becoming an elementary teacher after her time at CSUB.
